To Blog, Or Not To Blog?

I have to admit, right from the start, that I have no idea what I want this blog to be. I want to be able to write about anything, including things that are going on in my life, but I know that would wind up causing major conflicts with my husband, who guards his privacy and that of our children so ferociously that I was once forced to delete a Facebook status update about my son having a headache.

So, what does that leave me? I guess I can write about things that happened to me before I met my husband, but that will get boring very quickly. There were only a handful of interesting things that happened to me in my first 18 years. I can write about things that are happening in the world, but rarely am I confident enough in my opinions to voice them aloud. I can try to write something funny, or helpful, or completely pointless. I just don't know.

But wait, you say, there must be a reason why you've named the blog 91 Percent. Tell us why. Patience, my darlings. Maybe next time.
